In order to service the harmonic balancer, disconnect the battery negative cable, and then remove the fan shroud assembly and drive belt and remove the balancer with the help of the Harmonic Balancer Remover. Wipe with a rag and scrub the parts followed by reassembling the parts with the Harmonic Balancer Installer, next comes the drive belt and fan shroud assembly.
