  A: The first step to replace the Front Seat Recliner Actuator Motor requires seat removal of the front bucket seat. Before proceeding disconnect the push pin retainer that secures the lower seat belt retractor trim cover at its edge. Pull the rear end of the lower seat belt retractor trim cover before taking it out. First remove the retainer clip at the recliner motor end of the recliner shaft before sliding the recliner shaft from the outboard side of the recliner motor beyond the motor and the recliner sensor should the vehicle have memory seat capability. From beneath the seat remove the electrical connector for the recliner motor and its recliner sensor when the vehicle has the sensor installed before freeing the sensor from the motor. First remove the fastener from the recliner motor and afterwards place the motor outside of the seat back frame.
