How to replace the Brake Light Switch (ABS/TCC) on 2000 Buick LeSabre?

Before working on the Brake Light Switch (ABS/TCC) you must place the Brake Pedal at the top or rest position to avoid brake system harm and switch adjustment problems. Begin your work by taking out the cover part. Make sure the switch turns counter-clockwise to take it off and separate the upper switch electrical contacts. Insert the upper switch into its designated position and attach the electrical connectors but keep the switch front panel pointed toward the 6 o'clock direction. Push the lower switch into the retainer while pressed at its base and turn the switch clockwise to secure it at the 8 o'clock aligned position in its locked state. Finally, reinstall the closeout panel.
