In order to service the turn signal switch, one should disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering column steering column shroud, steering column tilt lever, and left closeout panel. To enable the SIR system, remove the multifunction switch, reconnect and install the parts in that order again, and in reverse.
