Use a screwdriver to uninstall the TORX(R) head shift lever screw first along with the removal of the shift lever . Position the shift lever first before placing the TORX(R) head shift lever screw and tightening it to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.). Tear the seal to expose the TORX(R) head of the shift lever screw before proceeding with screw removal.
