How to replace the Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor on GMC Yukon XL 1500?

Before replacing the front side door Window Regulator motor, users should first lift the window until operable; however if the Window Motor fails to operate users can remove the window to reveal retaining screws. You should then continue by removing the power window module. The motor and drive housing need to be removed from the rail by taking out fasteners one and two when working on the Window Regulator bench. To avoid cable gear/spool disengagement from the housing use your fingers to keep the gear/spool in position while extracting the motor. When jointly holding the motor and housing remove fastener three. Insert the motor partly out of the gear/spool to make space for fingers to reach the gear spool. When holding the gear/spool in the housing remove the motor. When installing the motor fit its mounting points and gear teeth together and then push it into the gear/spool before securing fastener three. Fasten together motor and housing assembly and install fastener two on the rail. Turn the motor and housing assembly until its fastener one attachment points line up and install this fastener while tightening its bolts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reinstall the power window module as well as the window component after their removal if any.
