How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler Hose on GMC Yukon?

Start the replacement process of transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe by removing the front bumper fascia. The removal of the front upper fascia support fasteners allows you to tip the bracket backward. First remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from its connection to auxiliary Oil Cooler and Radiator. First raise the vehicle then carefully take out the engine protection shield. The first step involves disconnecting both cooling lines which are connected to the transmission. You must remove the right differential carrier mounting nuts together with washers but always avoid using air-powered tools for these crucial bolt torques. First detach the bolt that secures the right front shock rear mounting to the lower Control Arm then remove all oil cooling lines present on the vehicle. Install the transmission Oil Cooler lines by bypassing the use of air-powered tools. The right shock rear mounting bolt gets installed onto the lower Control Arm while tightening it to 50nm (37 lb ft) torque strength. Afterward, the right differential carrier mounting nuts and washers need 100nm (75 lb ft) torque for tightening. Proceed with attaching the transmission to its cooling lines and reinstall the engine protection shield before lowering the vehicle. Reinstall the front upper fascia support bracket together with the front bumper fascia after you have connected the transmission fluid cooler hose to both Radiator and auxiliary Oil Cooler.
