How to replace the windshield washer pump and reservoir on GMC Sonoma?

First lift and stabilize the hood before draining the washer solvent vessel. Disconnect all electrical links and fluid lines from the washer pumps and pull out the screw locking the solvent bottle to the vehicle and the bottle itself. Take away the washing pump parts and grommets from the solvent storage compartment. Follow the fastener precaution directions when you put washer pumps and grommets onto the solvent container during installation. Secure the solvent container back onto the vehicle by screwing it in place then tightening to 3 N.m (27 lb in). Attach washer pump and electrical units to their proper spots before adding new washer fluid to the reservoir and closing the hood.
