How to replace the rear Tail Light assembly or turn signal bulb on GMC Sonoma?

The first step to change the tail lamp and turn signal bulbs involves opening either the end or liftgate. Twist the bulb sockets in a counterclockwise direction by 1/4 turn to disconnect them from the tail lamp assembly after unscrewing all holding screws. You can take the bulbs out by turning the sockets in a 1/4 counter-clockwise direction. To mount the new bulbs you insert them into sockets and tighten each one by rotating it 1/4 turn clockwise back into the lamp assembly. Connect the tail lamp assembly back to the vehicle and fasten it with screws while tightening them to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in).
