First raise the vehicle to work on the sway bar link in the rear suspension of the 35 series. Disassemble the frame sway bar link nut along with the sway bar link nut from the sway bar. Place the sway bar link on both the frame and sway bar before tightening the retaining nuts into place. Tighten both sway bar link fasteners according to specified torque limits. The first fastener must reach 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) while the second fastener requires 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Perform vehicle lowering procedure while following instructions in the Fastener Notice of Service Precautions.
