  First raise the hood while performing this task then remove the upper radiator support baffle. The first step is to remove the hood release latch's two bolts. Additionally disconnect the hood ajar indicator switch connector when it is present. Once you disconnect the cable end of the hood release then take out the hood release latch from the car. The hood installation requires you to connect the hood release cable end to the latch and to restore the hood ajar indicator switch connector if available. Place the Hood Latch on the radiator support while keeping the Hood Latch bolts loosely installed. Set the latch at a height where the hood stays firmly fixed against the front hood bumpers before lifting the hood into position. Proceed with attaching the Hood Latch bolts with 9 n.m torque setting after adjusting the front hood bumpers to match the top edge of the hood with the fenders. Last step is to replace the upper radiator support baffle.
