Follow cleaning of the bpmv with a soft dry object. Replacement of corrosion-damaged or broken mounting bolts for the new abscm installation must be done with fresh hardware while eliminating the use of any rtv or sealants on abscm gasket areas. Screw the abscm onto the bpmv with the provided four abscm bolts while tightening each one to 5 Nm (39 inch lbs.) according to an x-pattern. The four electrical connectors should be connected to the abscm followed by shield reinstallation with three bolts tightened to 12 Nm (8 ft. lbs.). The vehicle's height should be lowered while the tire calibration needs to be updated by using a scan tool before moving back to the diagnostic system check.

How to replace the ABS Control Module on GMC Savana 3500?

The vehicle must be lowered before continuing with tire calibration adjustment by using the Scan Tool. Return to the Diagnostic System Check procedure afterward.
