Begin your front
Wheel Hub bearing replacement job on rear-wheel drive vehicles by lifting and positioning the vehicle. Take off the wheel first then remove the tire and afterward detach the rotor. Separate the Wheel Hub and bearing by first pulling out its
Wheel Speed Sensor bolt and then removing the Wheel Speed Sensor. The Wheel Hub and bearing assembly must now be detached from the
Steering Knuckle using all its mounting bolts before the components can be taken out together with the rocker panel. Streak-free the Steering Knuckle opening before you apply Wheel Bearing grease or an equivalent to the hub and bearing assemble. Put the Wheel Hub and bearing into place with the shield but make sure to add the mounting bolts and tighten them to 180 nm (133 lb ft). Install the Wheel Speed Sensor onto the Wheel Hub and bearing then fasten it with the proper bolt tightened to 18 nm (13 lb ft). After installing the rotor put in the tire and wheel. Finally, lower the vehicle.
