The first task to replace the left side
Engine Mount bracket requires you to raise and support the vehicle. Begin by removing Engine Mount to mount bracket bolts while avoiding the use of jacks under the
Oil Pan because it can damage sheet metal or the crankshaft balancer. Use a jack to lift the engine at a minimal height which enables removal of the Engine Mount bracket when placed on the square tab at the block's rear side. The vehicle should be raised and supported next then the Engine Mount bracket mounting nuts need removal until the Engine Mount bracket can be extracted from the vehicle. When installing the Engine Mount bracket position it onto the vehicle then fasten the retaining nuts until they reach 45 n.m (33 lb ft). The engine requires lowering first before you secure the Engine Mount bolts to the Engine Mount bracket with a torque of 60 n.m (44 lb ft). Lower the vehicle after this procedure.
