How to replace the door moldings on a sliding door on GMC Safari?

For replacing the sliding door garnish you must first take out the swing-out window latch if included and afterward unscrew the door handle bezel. Use the Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover tool J 38778 to remove the molding retainers. Push the door garnish molding into its holes on the door until the retainer clips click into their receiver slots. Reposition the door handle bezel and fasten it with door handle bezel screws while tightening them to 2 Nm (18 lb in). Reinstall the swing-out window latch when you have replaced it on the door.
