Initiating replacement of the hydraulic Brake Booster users need to activate the park brake while placing a drain pan beneath the unit and booster reservoir. Severely disconnect all tubing lines between the booster and power steering system while avoiding direct contact between the brake pipes around the master cylinder port. You should disconnect the Pushrod from the Brake Pedal after supporting the master cylinder and removing its nuts. To proceed with installation start by disassembling the hydraulic booster assembly together with its gasket from within the vehicle. Before installing the new booster assembly you must place the gasket first then mount the assembly and tighten the mounting nuts to 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). Install the master cylinder while reconnecting the Pushrod to the Brake Pedal. Afterward install the master cylinder using its nuts and tighten them at 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). Fasten the power steering hoses to the booster at 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.) before moving on to installing the reservoir hose. After completing installation of the gasket and booster assembly mount the booster using a torque of 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). Then attach the Brake Pedal Pushrod to the brake assembly and fit the master cylinder while tightening all connections to 36 nm (27 ft. Lbs.). Next, join the power steering hoses to the booster along with bolting the reservoir hose before you finally bleed the hydraulic Brake Booster followed by releasing the parking brake.
