Before proceed to the removal of the coil spring's, lift the vehicle and enable it to be hold from the ground level through the lifting equipment. These include: removing the wheel and tire assemblies, the
Brake Calipers, parking brake cable mounting bracket, and brake caliper mounting bracket. Unplug the abs electric connector and take off its mounting bracket. Use a utility jack to hold the lower Control Arm, then take the stabilizer link off the lower Control Arm. With the j 41820
Ball Joint/stud separator (J 41820) disengage the Ball Joint from the knuckle and let the lower Control Arm down using the utility jack and relieve the coil spring tension to remove the coil spring. For installation, install the new coil spring and lift the lower Control Arm with utility jack to load the suspension. Replace the j 41820 (J 41820) in to the Ball Joint at the knuckle, the stabilizer link on the lower Control Arm, and support the lower Control Arm again with the utility jack. Reinstall abs electrical connector mounting bracket, connect abs electrical connector, then install the brake caliper mounting bracket, parking brake cable mounting bracket, brake calipers. Lastly, reinstate the wheel and tire assemblies as well as raise the vehicle.
