Begin by removing the 2 bolts (Bolt) fastening the striker to the door frame before removing both parts from the frame. Start the installation step by placing the striker alongside the spacer onto the door frame yet avoid tightening its bolts at this time. Then install the two bolts (Bolt) which anchor the striker to the door frame before setting the striker and spacer to their marked location. Follow proper fastener cautions while tightening the bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft) to avoid damaging the vehicle. Finally, close the door.
