Start by removing the retainer strap from the inner panel extension backside before taking retainers off both front and rear points of the inner panel extension. Remove the rear wheelhouse inner panel extension from the vehicle after you pull off both the retainer strap from its rear side as well as front and rear retainers. Panels and retainers should be installed onto the rear wheelhouse inner panel extension through positioning it on the vehicle and securing the retainers at 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Install and firmly secure the retainers on the inner panel extension front at 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Put the retainer strap on the inner panel extension backside as the last installation step.
