Q: How to replace the brake line on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?
A:
Start by detaching brake pipe fittings before you uninstall both brake pipe fasteners from the car to remove its brake pipe. Then bend the brake pipe until it reaches its proper fit position before reinstalling it into the vehicle with a 19 mm (3/4 inch) gap to all moving and vibrating parts. Finally you can begin with fastening brake pipe saddles before fitting brake pipe connections. Brake pipe fittings should be torqued to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) when attaching them to both BPMV and wheel jounce hoses and to the master cylinder. Finish the process by bleeding the hydraulic brake system.
