How to service and repair the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on Chevrolet SSR?

A replacement of the mass air flow (MAF)/intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor starts by opening the hood to disconnect the electrical connection from the maf/imt sensor. Begin by disconnecting the air cleaner outlet duct before releasing the clamp which holds the maf/imt sensor to the upper air box. Extract the maf/imt sensor from the vehicle with proper care. Start by placing the maf/imt sensor to the upper air box and apply 4 n.m (35 lb in) of torque to the clamp. Reconnect the electrical connector to the maf/imt sensor before you install the air cleaner outlet duct and close the hood.
