How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on the NV 4500 manual transmission on Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic?

Pullover and upturned the car and prop it up securely. Unplug the VSS electrical connector and take off the VSS and its seal. Before installation the NEW O-ring seal should be coated with a thin coat of the transmission fluid, GM P/N 12346190 (Canadian P/N 10953477) or equivalent. Install the VSS and firm it up to 16Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Lastly, connect the VSS electrical connector back and bring down the vehicle.
