Start by disconnecting the auxiliary battery negative cable and removing the auxiliary battery cable clips from their studs located at the front of the dash. The installation begins with removing the engine sight shield and engine wiring harness/auxiliary negative battery cable bolt before taking out the auxiliary negative battery cable. Install first the auxiliary negative battery cable while keeping the engine wiring harness ground terminal positioned above and towards the inside of the auxiliary negative battery cable ground crimp. After installation of the engine wiring harness/auxiliary negative battery cable bolt keep tightening it to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
