    You must first remove the tire and wheel to replace the lower Ball Joint. Start by taking off the snap ring from the Ball Joint stud. Then detach the bolts that fasten the lower Ball Joint assembly to the Steering Knuckle. Unbolt the pinch bolt that attaches the Ball Joint before removing the complete Ball Joint unit from the vehicle. Insert the lower Ball Joint into the vehicle then fasten the bolts of the Steering Knuckle with a torque of 110 nm (81 ft. Lbs.). Put the lower Ball Joint pinch bolt in place before tightening it to 230 nm or 169 ft. Lbs. Force. Place the snap ring onto the lower Ball Joint before reinstalling the tire and wheel and recalibrating all four wheels.
