The threads of the old sensor benefit from application of anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 because this compound's liquid graphite and glass bead composition enables easier thread removal. Tighten the HO2S by 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Begin by attaching the HO2S electrical connector for vehicles with a 6.0L engine then proceed with attaching the 4.8L or 5.3L connectors. Lower the vehicle before reinstalling the HO2S to its clamps then remove the CPA retainer.
