Begin the oil level indicator tube replacement by taking off the oil level indicator together with the right Exhaust Manifold. Continue by removing the oil level indicator tube bolt and rotating it to uninstall the oil level indicator tube. First remove all old sealer from both the indicator tube and engine block surface. Use the appropriate sealant to coat 13 mm (0.5 in) of the indicator tube base from below the tube bead. Begin installation of the indicator tube by inserting it properly before placing the indicator tube bolt in position and tightening it to 12 nm (106 lb in). End the job by reinstalling both the right Exhaust Manifold and the oil level indicator.
