  To remove the old sunroof drive cable and install a new one, start by lifting the headlining trim finish panel. Next, remove the 2 screws from both sides of the sunroof window and then remove the sunroof window. Move to remove the 2 screws and the sunroof air deflector of the sunroof housing. Remove the sunroof control module and actuator electrical connectors and lift the sunroof actuator away along with the motor in the complete closed position. Next, you will then remove the 3 bolts and the sunroof actuator. Proper functioning requires that the sunroof window and the sunroof actuator full close position are synchronized. Then, take out the screw and the cam plate cover from the sunroof actuator. Turn the actuator drive gear to put the point marks inline, then put the cam plate cover onto the sunroof motor and screw it in with 1 screw. Loosen the clamps and remove the 4 sunroof housing drain hose hoses. Remove the 2 side rail roof panel insulator retainers securing each side rail roof panel insulator and the 2 side rail roof panel insulators. Unclip the dome lamp wiring harness from the 2 hangers passing laterally on the sunroof housing, and then, remove the 8 bolts, 4 brackets, 6 nuts, and sunroof housing. Take out the screw from each of the stop, the 2 sunroof sunshade stops, and the sunroof sunshade from the sunroof housing. Slide out the rear support sunroof housing, and then remove the 2 screws attaching each sunroof guide block to the sunroof housing. Eliminate the 6 screws, the sunroof frame front support as well as the sunroof managing blocks. Slide each drive cable bracket forward, including the actuator cable on it, out of the sunroof housing guide rails. Slide each drive cable bracket rearward into the sunroof housing guide rails, and make sure the outer guide pins go into the housing guide rail slots. Install the sun roof guide blocks and the sun roof housing front support, attaching it with 6 screws. Fasten each sunroof guide block to the sunroof housing using 2 screws. Slide in the sunroof housing rear support, then the sunroof sunshade and install them by securing with 2 sunroof sunshade stops with screws for each stop. Mount the sunroof housing to the vehicle by using 6 nuts and mount the 4 brackets and secure them using 8 bolt, tighten the sunroof housing nuts and bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Reattach the dome lamp wiring harness to the 2 hangers, and then install in 2 side rail roof panel insulators, securing each with 2 plastic retainers. Reattach the 4 sunroof housing drain hoses to the sunroof housing using a hose clamp to secure each one. Mount the sunroof actuator in place with 3 bolts and tighten them to 5.4 N.m (48 lb in). Connect the sunroof actuator and sunroof control module electrical connectors and install the sunroof air deflector with 2 screws. Lastly, attach the sunroof window using 2 screws on the two sides without tightening completely, adjust sunroof window on requirement and reinstall the headlining trim finish panel.
