Mount the cruise control module onto shock tower studs before tightening its mounting nuts to 2 N.m torque according to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control module while you complete the connection of the cruise control module electrical connector. The cruise control cable can be installed without mechanical adjustment because the module has built-in cable positioning capabilities.
