The engine mounts are nonadjustable and are not serviced usually. however, damaged or disintegrated mounts should be replaced immediately to avoid extra stress to other mounts and drive line parts. To check for faulty engine mounts, raise engine, to relieve weight at the mounts and create slight tension in the rubber. When lifting the engine, check mounts and replace them if found to have hard rubber surfaces, heat check cracks, rubber separated from metal plate, or split rubber down the middle. If there is play between a metal plate of the mount and the points the mount connects to, then set the engine on mounts and tighten bolts or nuts connecting the mount to the frame or bracket of the engine.
