Acquire the wiper transmission separator tool (J 39232) and wiper transmission installer device (J 39529) to perform the wiper motor replacement. Start your work by taking off both wiper arms plus the air inlet grille panel from the vehicle. You should remove the wiper motor connector first and disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor crank using the wiper transmission separator (J 39232). Detach the wiper drive system module by removing three screws and separate its parts from the wiper motor. First remove the rubber boot then loosen the screw before tapping the soft mallet steady to disengage the crank arm. First unscrew three wiper motor screws before taking out the shaft seal and water shield. Begin installation by fitting the water shield and shaft seal on the wiper motor first. Next, fasten the wiper motor to the wiper drive system module through three screws that require 7 N.m (62 lb in) torque.
