How to replace the air hose outlet duct on Chevrolet Impala?

The replacement process of the air cleaner outlet duct starts with removing the intake manifold cover followed by disconnecting the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the air inlet duct. You should first loosen the Throttle Body clamp on the air cleaner outlet duct before taking it away from the Throttle Body. Slightly loosen the clamp holding the air cleaner outlet duct next to its connection with the maf/iat sensor and remove the duct. Install the air cleaner outlet duct onto the maf/iat sensor and securely fasten the clamp to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Mount the duct on the Throttle Body and lock it in position with a 3 n.m (27 lb in) torque setting. Once finished reinstall the intake manifold cover after plugging the pcv tube to the air intake duct.
