    The first step to work on the turn signal multifunction switch involves taking out the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel. Remove both bolts from the lower steering column trim and then unscrew the upper steering column trim fixture. Pull off the electrical connectors from the turn signal multifunction switch before moving the left lower steering column trim cover to the side. Use a finger to unlock the switch tabs to take out the turn signal multifunction switch. Insert the new turn signal multifunction switch by snapping its locking tabs into position and then reconnect all electrical contacts. Restore the steering column trim covers on top of installing back the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel.
