First disconnect the fuse named HVAC CTRL (BATT) and knee bolster reinforcement. Then, remove the instrument panel tie bar and remove the air temperature actuator electrical connector. Take out the screws that are fixed to the air temperature actuator, and then remove the actuator. In installation, make sure that the key is in the OFF mode when joining the electrical connectors to ensure that it is calibrated correctly. Mount the air temperature actuator followed with screw fastening to 2.2 Nm (19 lb in). Reconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector; install the I/P tie bar, as well as the knee bolster reinforcement. Finally, install the fuse served with a label of HVAC CTRL (BATT). Do not interfere with any controls on the HVAC control assembly during calibration to prevent incorrect hvac performance and, turn the engine starting it to run for a minute.
