How to replace the intermediate steering column seal on Chevrolet Express 2500?

The vehicle's wheels should face straight ahead and the Steering Column needs to be locked into place to protect the sir coil assembly during intermediate steering shaft seal replacement. To begin insertion of the Steering Column anti-rotation pin (J 42640) position it inside the Steering Column lower access hole. Remove the intermediate shaft bearing followed by extracting the intermediate shaft seal from the intermediate shaft bearing. Before installation you need to fit the intermediate shaft seal onto the intermediate shaft bearing then reinstall the intermediate shaft bearing . From the Steering Column lower access hole remove the Steering Column anti-rotation pin (J 42640).
