Start service of the power door lock switch by breaking off the front door trim plate. Safely disconnect the electrical connector of the power door lock switch from its location and detach the retaining tabs on the switch from the trim plate. The power door lock switch can be detached from its position in the trim plate. Securing the power door lock switch into position on the front door trim plate requires both applying pressure until the retaining tabs snap into place. You must reinstall the front door trim plate after you connect the electrical connector to the power door lock switch.
