How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on Chevrolet Express 2500?

Firstly, disable the SIR to replace the Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor. Next, lift and prop the vehicle. Unplug the CPA from inflatable restraint front end discriminating sensor electrical connector and disconnect the electrical connector. Keep in mind that the fastener has a left handed thread, therefore loosen the inflatable restraint front end sensor mounting nut and slide the sensor towards the front of the vehicle to remove it from the keyhole slot in the lower radiator support. For installation clean the mounting surface and make sure the arrow on the sensor faces the front of vehicle. Mount the inflatable restraint front end sensor, into the lower radiator support 'keyhole slot', press it toward the rear (sit properly) and set the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the inflatable restraint front end sensor electrical connector, snap in the CPA, take off the safety stands down, lower the vehicle, and lastly its enable the SIR system.
