How to Replace the Door Emblem on a Savana Pro on Chevrolet Express 1500?

Start the Savana Pro door emblem/nameplate replacement by obtaining a Heat Gun (J 25070) plus 3M(TM) Scotch Brite Molding Adhesive Remover Disk (3M(TM) P/N 07501). Protect and position the door emblem with tape before starting. Heat the emblem/nameplate using the Heat Gun (J 25070) with a 152 mm (6.0 in) distance and circular motion for 30 seconds. Use a plastic flat tool to take off the emblem/nameplate to protect the paint surface. Clean both sides of the door panel and the emblem nameplate before removiving every trace of adhesive. Place tape at this area to show the installing spot when there is no emblem/nameplate sign. Use the Heat Gun (J 25070) to warm the door surface up to at least 21° Celsius or 70° Fahrenheit without touching the adhesive behind it. Secure the front side of the emblem/nameplate over the door panel and remove the remaining backing while doing so. Press the emblem/nameplate gently across the hand to make sure it connects well and check for proper stick with the tape still on the door area.
