The replacement process of the front seat back heater element begins with uninstalling the front seat. Begin by removing screws from the outboard recliner trim panel before removing the panel itself and continue with the screws from the inboard recliner trim panel follow by its removal. First detach the head restraint after which remove the electrical connector from the seat heater element. The first step involves removing the bolts that secure the seat back frame and completing the seat back assembly removal before the next step to remove back panel screws and the back panel itself. Pull away both hook and loop retainers from the seat back trim cover before raising it to access the heater element. Extract the element from the seat back pad by slow pulling force with great care to the pad.
