How to replace the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna on Chevrolet Corvette?

Beginning a gps Antenna replacement requires the removal of the instrument panel assembly. Start by removing the gps Antenna from the vehicle after undoing the 2 plastic rivet retainers that clamp the Antenna to the hvac duct. Installation begins by positioning the gps Antenna and coaxial lead in the vehicle followed by securing the gps Antenna to the hvac duct with the 2 plastic rivets then returning the i/p assembly to its place.

How to clean the antenna mast on Chevrolet Corvette?

Start by setting the ignition to ACC or ON before turning the radio ON to raise the power antenna to complete extension. Use mineral spirits and wipe the antenna section joints in combination with the antenna sections by moving your cloth up and down until no more dirt remains. Next use a dry clean cloth to wipe the antenna and remove any loosened dirt and moisture. When the power antenna reaches its full extension use the radio OFF setting before performing the cleaning process again to achieve antenna cleaning then switch off ignition.
