The first step for replacing the Fuel Tank filler hose requires users to drain part of the fuel from the tank below its fill hose level. Support the vehicle properly while reaching the fuel fill hose through the wheelhouse liner until you remove the left wheelhouse liner from the pickup box. You must start by taking off the frame-mounted fuel fill hose ground strap bolt together with its associated ground strap. First disconnect the fill tube vent line through the Fuel Tank evaporative emission (EVAP) line quick connect fitting. The next step is to loosen the Fuel Tank fuel fill hose clamp and disconnect the gear from the tank.
