After removing the evaporator temperature sensor control module screw, relocate the control module before dividing the HVAC module assembly through (1, 4). Take out the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator before extracting the evaporator core from the HVAC module assembly. Refrigerant oil should be included when installing the new evaporator core. After installing the seal between the HVAC module assembly halves integrate the evaporator core into the assembly and finish with attaching the evaporator temperature sensor to the core. Follow the Fastener Notice when assembling the HVAC module assembly before attaching screws to connect its halves while tightening screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). To finish the installation thread in the evaporator temperature sensor control module screw while tightening it to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). After that place back the HVAC module assembly.
