    A:
    To replace the Thermostat (RPO L61), start by pulling the intake manifold cover, and drain the cooling system. Move the radiator outlet hose clamp up from the Thermostat housing, then move the radiator outlet hose off the Thermostat housing. If required, remove the Thermostat cover bolts and cover, the Thermostat itself to be removed and discard the Thermostat cover o-ring seal if available. For installation, position a new Thermostat cover o-ring seal into the recess groove and install the Thermostat. Install the Thermostat cover bolts, while tightening them to 10 n.m (89 lb in), and attach the radiator outlet hose to the Thermostat housing and find the position of the radiator outlet hose clamp at the thermostate housing. Refill the cooling system and lastly, re-install the cover of the intake manifold.
