The first step to replace the underhood Fuse Box starts by disconnecting both cables of the negative Battery Cable from the battery then the positive cable. The air inlet should be disconnected following which the engine cover is removed from the underhood junction block and Battery Cable section and the splice pack must be extracted from the inner fender area. The underhood junction block should be extracted from its bracket while rotating the block clockwise 180 degrees until the bottom cover can be unsnapped and connectors separated from the junction block. The first step for installation requires mounting the underhood junction block while connecting all its connectors. First put the bottom cover in place then set the block rotational position to 180 degrees counterclockwise before inserting into the bracket. Connect the splice pack to the inner fender before installing the Battery Cable connection along with its cover to the underhood junction block before reconnecting the air inlet. The installation process ends by fastening the positive Battery Cable and then moving to the negative Battery Cable while tightening the bolts to 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
