How to replace the headlight assembly or headlight bulb and other related bulbs on Chevrolet Blazer?

Before you replace any part of the headlamp system turn off the headlamp switch and set the ignition switch to the LOCK position. First disconnect the lamp electrical connectors and pull up both headlamp retainers before taking out the headlamp assembly from the vehicle. Be cautious with the halogen bulb due to its pressurized gas; handle the glass delicately while keeping the lamp surface both dry and clean to prevent gas explosion when activating it. To disconnect the bulb turn it a quarter counterclockwise. To replace the bulbs insert them 1/4 turn clockwise then align the headlamp connectors and put back the assembly pieces utilizing retainers by pushing them down and inward. Wear protective eyewear when handling the bulbs and follow correct rules to discard them safely.
