To replace the inside air temperature sensor assembly in the auxiliary system, start by removing the third pillar molding and the left rear coat hook if it is available. Next, remove rear headliner retainers from the front headliner and carefully remove headliner from roof Velcro retainers. Disconnect the electrical connector at inside air temp sensor from inside and partially pull out the auxiliary inside air temp sensor from the headliner. Now, take off the sensor grille from the auxiliary inside air temperature sensor and set the sensor aside. For installation, attach the new sensor grille to the headliner first and then add the inside air temperature sensor to the headliner and sensor grille later. Reconnect the electrical connector to the inside air temperature sensor and safe the headliner to the roof Velcro, place the rear headliner retainers to the front headliner. If available, install the left rear coat hook, and lastly, third pillar molding.
