The Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold is undoubtedly a crucial part to help improve the car's performance and durability, and this useful part is applicable to several models of Chevrolet Aveo series, manufactured between 2002- 2020. This Intake Manifold serves to effectively channel A/I or the air/fuel mixture to the cylinder head intake port, dictating the output power of the engine and its effectiveness. Chevrolet Aveo engines are 1.2 L, 1.4 L and 1.8 L Ecotec I4; all these engines have been improved by Intake Manifold engineering. Finally, the recent models of Aveo incorporate lightweight composite plastic materials to increase the fuel efficiency and also help in convection, making the Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold to be exceptional in the market. Others are equipped with variable-length intake manifolds (VLIM) which adjust the air intake passages according to the engine load in order to get more power and safety. The fact that Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold supports different kinds of engines allows the drivers to get consistent power supply and increase acceleration rates, the top speed being 176 km/h. This Intake Manifold is very important when it comes to the efficiency of the engine and this has greatly helped to shape the Chevrolet Aveo into what it is today when it comes to reliability and performance. Therefore the Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold reflects a well-established quality and innovations that denote the Chevrolet brand in the market.

Chevrolet Aveo Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the intake manifold on Chevrolet Aveo?
    A:
Begin fuel pump replacement by removing the Fuse and waiting until the engine stalls before cranking for ten seconds to release fuel pressure. First disconnect the negative battery then drain engine coolant and unplug the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector while removing the air intake tube from the Throttle Body as well as the idle air control (IAC) valve connector and Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connector and engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor connector and heater inlet hose from the cylinder head. Remove all vacuum hoses which include the surge tank coolant hose at the Throttle Body and those routed through the Fuel Pressure Regulator and Brake Booster. Remove the Throttle Body cable followed by the fuel injector rail and injectors assembly while also removing the alternator adjusting bolt and alternator Drive Belt and both the alternator adjusting bracket bolt and Intake Manifold support bracket bolts to detach the Intake Manifold with its gasket. After cleaning the mating areas of the cylinder head and Intake Manifold install the new gasket followed by the Intake Manifold while tightening the retaining bolts to 25 n.m at 18 lb ft according to their installation order. Bolts connecting the upper part of the Intake Manifold support bracket should be torqued to 25 n.m (18 lb ft), while the lower bolt securing it to the engine block requires a torque of 40 n.m (30 lb ft). Join the Fuel Rail to its injectors while installing the throttle cable along with vacuum lines and heater inlet hose and surge tank coolant hose and alternator adjusting bracket bolts with a torque of 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Before completing the installation replace the Drive Belt and alternator adjusting bolt while linking all sensors including ect and iat to their corresponding connectors. Also connect the iac valve and tps then attach the powertrain control module (PCM)/engine control module (ECM) ground terminal to the Intake Manifold. Reinstall the fuel pump Fuse before connecting the negative Battery Cable and refilling the engine cooling system.
