Before you can replace the transmission mount on a 4l60-e, raise and support the vehicle, and then use a transmission jack to hold up the transmission. Take out the two nuts holding the transmission mount to the transmission support and gently lift the transmission up from the support. Then, loosen the bolts and raise the transmission far enough so you can take out the transmission mount. Be sure to put the transmission mount in place and then tighten its bolts to 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.) for 4wd or 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) for 2wd, fitting them to the transmission or transfer case adapter accordingly. Bring the transmission down and screw in the two mount nuts onto the transmission support, making sure they are tightened to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Now, take away the transmission jack and let the vehicle come down.
