    Before servicing and repairing the canister purge solenoid, you need to disconnect on the negative Battery Cable and remove the engine cover. Following this, demount the air inlet tube by unscrewing it with the wingnut and then further disconnect the evap purge line and purge solenoid electrical connector. Remove the purge solenoid mounting nuts and pull the purge out from Intake Manifold. For installation, mount the purge solenoid and fasten the mounting nuts with 12 n.m (9 lb ft) torque. Reconnect the purge solenoid electrical connector and the evap except air inlet tube. Reinstall it with wingnut. Lastly, install the engine cover and connect the negative Battery Cable.

Install the evap canister purge valve to the Intake Manifold while following service precautions fastener notice and tighten the mounting nuts to 12 nm (106 lb in.). Redux the connection of the evap canister purge valve harness connector and the evap canister purge pipe. Fasten the engine wiring harness bracket to its stud with an 8 nm (71 lb in.) torque setting before you install the engine cover.
