Unscrew the position sensor from the lower control arm on 4.6L vehicles using pliers or your Torx bit, make sure your ball stud stays put while you remove the links with pliers or a Torx bit. First disconnect the exhaust pipe from the manifold using the bracket bolts, then unbolt the brackets and bushings to complete taking out the Sway Bar Kit. Reassemble your vehicle by first putting the Sway Bar Kit in place, then put the exhaust pipe back onto the manifold. Make sure the bushing slits point toward the vehicle's back, put brackets and bolts on loosely, then attach the stabilizer links. Twist the bracket bolts until they reach 35 ft/lb of torque. Use pliers or a Torx bit to keep the ball stud from turning when doing this. Also set the stabilizer link nuts to 48 ft/lb of torque. To complete the job, drivers must reattach the lower control arm's road sensing suspension position sensor, attach the tire and wheel back on the right side of the vehicle, and gently lower the car back to the ground.
