To replace the Thermostat housing (LH2), draining the cooling system should happen first, then the air cleaner outlet duct, followed by the Radiator Hose and heater hose from Thermostat housing. Then remove the Thermostat housing bolts and remove the Thermostat housing with the Thermostat from the water housing while discarding the seal ring and remove the Thermostat from the housing. Clean sealing surface of Thermostat case and water case and install Thermostat in the Thermostat case. Put a new seal on the Thermostat housing and fasten the Thermostat housing with the Thermostat and seal again on the water housing. Place the Thermostat housing bolts, make sure they are tightened with 10 nm (89 inch lbs), then replace the heater hose and Radiator Hose connection in the Thermostat housing, and the air cleaner outlet duct; fill the cooling, and then system.
